Paper in Oil (PIO) Capacitor

This is a high quality PIO capacitor the conductor is made of aluminum foil and the dielectric is oil saturated paper, glass sealed in a metal body.
These capacitors provide excellent sonic characteristics and make great  tone capacitors for guitars.  Hermetically sealed in a metal case with glass ends.
.047 is a good value for Strats and Tele's or the bridge position in Les Paul's, Epiphones or other guitars using Humbucker style pickups.  Paper in Oil will give a slightly "smoother" tone than ceramic disc or poly caps.
These are easy to install, two solder points.  A quick, easy, and inexpensive upgrade to your tone.
PLEASE NOTE:  There may be a slight discoloration to the plastic sheathing on the case.  This is due to age and will affect the caps performance in any way.

be unused and in the same condition it was shipped (this means you have not soldered on lugs, clipped leads, tried to fit a square peg in a round hole, etc.).  We reserve the right to charge a 10% restocking fee.  In instances where factory packaged items are returned open a 50% restocking fee will apply.
